Last March 22-23, 2014, I flew along with five of my officemates to Manila. I attended their team building in Punta de Fabian, Baras Rizal.
We rented a van that can occupy 20 people. Our meeting place was at SM Megamall at 12 noon. We were able to leave the mall at around 1pm. And then we reached the resort at around 2:30pm. The place was really clean and attractive as well as the rooms. Everything was really taken cared of. I had a very fun weekend with my boyfriend's team. :)
For more details of the resort, please see their website: www.puntadefabian.com :)

Baguio City 2014
Last February 22-24, 2014, I went back to Baguio along with my boy friend and his friends. It is my third time there. But what is unique on my third visit in this place is that the city is more crowded than the usual since it is Flower month. They call their festival as Panagbenga festival. Since it is a busy month in Baguio, expect more people strolling around the city and it was surely very hard for us to find a taxi cab to travel from one place to another. We also booked our bus ticket ahead of time (one week before the actual date of departure) otherwise, we would be one of those chance passengers on the terminal.
In our three day vacation, we stayed at Dela Cruz Transient House (Address: Hamada Road, Queen of Peace). You need to ride a taxi cab to reach the city. The place is very clean. It basically looks like an apartment. It has two storeys with three bedrooms and two bath rooms. As shown below, it has four units with the same amenities inside. The overnight stay is 6,000 for a maximum of fifteen people.
On our third day, we had to go back to Manila since our flight is 7pm the same day. We left Baguio at aroung 11am.

On our first day in Baguio, we visited almost the same places I visited last November 2013. Just like the Chinese Bell Church, Camp John Hay and Mines View Park. We also visited the Strawberry Farm and Tam-awan Village.
On our second day, we spent the morning on the streets since there are lots of flower parades. Here are some of what we have seen. I was personally fascinated with all of these.
Alcoy, Cebu 2014
Last February 8-9, 2014, me and my officemates here in Cebu had some special guests from Manila. They wanted to hit the beach rather than go other places, maybe because the beaches here in Cebu are way better than others. I can proudly say that since I am a full-blown Cebuana. We decided to go South bound since it was hard for us to find a proper resort to stay over the weekend if we go North since the beaches there were affected by Yolanda last November 2013.
It was around 10am when we left South Bus Terminal. After two hours, we reached Dalaguete and decided to visit Obong Spring where we also had our lunch there. Since the rain was pouring so hard that time, we decided not to take a dip on the spring. Right after we had our lunch, we took a tricycle going to Tingko Beach, Alcoy. The fare going to Tingko Beach is twenty pesos per head. And the travel time is 20-30 minutes. We stayed at Barangay Beach House over the weekend. The overnight stay there costs 1,200 pesos per room. The room is airconditioned and has one double bed where it can accommodate four people. The room is not that fancy but it is quite clean. Since we are ten in the group, we reserved two rooms. (Barangay Beach House only has two rooms). The room has a wide balcony with wooden sofas. Our two gentlemen friends slept at the balcony so that the females and the visitors can sleep on the rooms. Basically, the price is really cheap for a group of ten. :)
During our stay there, we bummed at the beach most of the time and played on the floating cottage accross the sea. If I am not mistaken, the use of floating cottage is fifteen pesos for the whole day use.
I found a blog about Alcoy and showed some pictures of Barangay Beach House. Here it is:

The next day, we accompanied our Manila friends on their whaleshark watching activity which is in Oslob. I did not swim with them since I already tried this last year with the same group of friends. (I also blogged about it last year)

Splash Island - Tagaytay 2013
After two weeks from my Norther Luzon trip, I went back to Manila for another adventure with another set of cool people. We arrived at Manila around 2am last November 29. So I spent my Friday working with the best team ever. I was happy that I finally experienced how it is to be working with them personally.
So the weekend came and me and my team mates headed to Splash Island. We left Taguig at around 9am. Since most of my team mates have their own car, we did not rent a mini bus for all of us, but instead, we used their cars as our mode of transportation going to Splash Island. We reached the place at noon time. We also had our lunch there. The place is nice.. I was able to appreciate and enjoy the slides and all other activities since I was rooting to visit Splash Island ever since I was a kid. There were about nine activities at Splash Island. Here are some of the group shots taken during our outing.

We left the place at 6pm and drove our way to Tagaytay. We stayed at Tagaytay Haven Hotel. It is a very good and classy place to stay. Upon reaching the hotel, we only left our things and went out again for dinner. We had a very sumptuous dinner at M&M Bulalohan. After dinner, we chilled for an hour or two at Bag of Beans. It is the best coffe shop I've been to. After finishing our cups of coffee, we decided to have some videoke at Bali Seafood Paluto. We had so much fun that we left the place at 3am the next day already. The Sunday greeted us with a foggy and rainy morning. We had our brunch at Red Engine Diner at Sky Ranch. Unfortunately, we were not able to ride the Vikings because it was under maintenance that time. So we decided to head back to Manila. Along the way, we passed by Rowena's Bakeshop in Tagaytay to buy pasalubong and Solenad Nuvali to shop some stuffs. And then we had our dinner at Paseo at Laguna. After dinner, we bid good byes and thank yous to my team mates for the wonderful weekend. While waiting for our flight, we decided to drink some light alcohol at my team mate's place in ParaƱaque.
